All major cryptocurrencies under top 20 according to CoinMarketFeed are reporting slight losses capped fewer than 2% on the day to press time. Bitcoin [BTC] is hovering above the $5,300 mark but rest of the major altcoins is facing slight losses.
The first generation and the most prominent cryptocurrency Bitcoin [BTC] is down by 0.02 percent on the day and is trading at $5,345 at the time of press, according to CoinMarketFeed. When analyzing the weekly chart, the cryptocurrency is seen trading up by slightly more than 5 percent.
The second largest cryptocurrency Ethereum [ETH] is maintaining its position as the largest altcoin by market capitalization, which is close to $18.3 billion.
CoinMarketFeed data shows that ethereum [ETH] is trading down by about 1.18 percent over the last 24 hours. At press time, ETH is trading around $173.16. When analyzing the past one week chart the largest altcoin has also witnessed an increase in its value by 6%.
Ripple’s XRP is down by almost two percent over the last 24 hours and is currently trading around $0.326. The past one week XRP chart shows the second largest altcoin is up by 1.2 percent. The altcoin XRP has a market capitalization of $13.8 billion at the time of press.
Among the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, the cryptocurrency which reported a significant price change is the seventh ranked cryptocurrency binance coin [BNB]. According to the stats from CoinMarketFeed the Binance coin is down by almost 6.6 percent on the day. When analyzing the weekly chart the cryptocurrency is seen trading by over 31 percent on the week.
At the time of press, the total market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies is $180 billion. Looking at the weekly report, the market capitalization is over four percent higher than last week’s value, according to the reports.
