Coinbase launches Coinbase Card for UK customers

 

Per a blog post published on April 10th, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has recently launched Coinbase card. The card will enable United kingdom customers to pay in-store and online with cryptocurrency. The card has been issued by Paysafe Financial Services. Coinbase will reportedly add support for other European countries in the near term. 

The Coinbase Card is a Visa debit card powered by customers’ Coinbase account crypto balances, which allows them to make purchases with digital currencies worldwide. The card will immediately turn crypto funds into fiat currency, this will make for complete order purchase. 

Coinbase also released the Coinbase Card app for iOS and Android. which links customers’ Coinbase accounts with the app and allows them to choose a particular wallet to fund their Coinbase Card. Additonally, it also provides access to receipts, transaction summaries, spending categories, and other features. The card is said to support all digital assets available to purchase and sell on the Coinbase platform.

In another news reported by Fintech platform YouHodler recently announced that users can now instantly receive a loan instantly to their credit card. Per the platform’s claims, they are the first “full-cycle” loan platform including integrated crypto, fiat, and USDT wallets along with crypto-to-crypto conversion. 

Previously, the users could pay back their loans with credit/debit cards. Also, with instant payouts with credit card integration helps crypto enthusiasts to act immediately on market movements. At present, YouHodler will only accept Visa and Mastercard. In the future, it might support prepaid cards as well. 

After taking out a loan, users will see that their borrowed finds appear in the “Wallets” table found in the “Borrowed Funds” sections of their personal profile. Secondly, they need to click the “Withdrawal” button. This will open more features. Lastly, clicking the “Credit Card” button will then direct the user to a withdrawal. Here as the user can enter a specific amount of their balance they would like to withdraw. In a final step, the user just needs to put their credit card number and expiration date before clicking the “withdraw” button. 

Coinbase Pro, the advanced offering of crypto trading platform and wallet service for Coinbase announced support for Ripple’s XRP token. Full trading for the digital asset will be available to customers in U.S, Canada, United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia. The leading exchange may expand its services to other countries later.
