Litecoin [LTC] Clears the FUD Surrounding Github Commits and Adoption of a New Logo

Litecoin [LTC] clears the FUD surrounding Github commits

There is a FUD (Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt) surrounding Litecoin’s Github commit activity recently when someone tweeted saying -

Litecoin Tweet

The clarification that came immediately from Litecoin was that it does not use master node for staging changes — instead, the master node is supposed to be the latest release. For Litecoin, Github commits are also synced from the core developers’ forked repositories. Litecoin (LTC value) mining network is also distributed amongst many pool operators, and not one single entity owns more than 19% which maintains its decentralization.

Since 2011, Litecoin has been working on its core development. The fact that Litecoin Core is also streamlining its commits, giving more clarity & also safeguarding new code that enters its source code. In a nutshell, Litecoin is set to evolve in the next stage of its evolution which is bringing about mainstream adoption with the help of new processes & procedures.

Adoption of a new blue logo

Litecoin community has adopted a new blue logo designed by ‘The Tokens Agency,’ an Australian based design firm. The announcement came as a surprise for some & its active Reddit community of Litecoin seemed in favour of the re-branding.

According to Robbie Coleman, Founder, Tokens Agency said -

“As Litecoin users and holders, we wanted to apply our creative agency’s skill set to LTC in some way. Designing for the decentralized coin — and all the complexity that came with it — also seemed like an awesome challenge, one few creative agencies were taking on.”

The team had to go through three months of countless iterations together, before coming up with the new design. After gathering positive reception from the Litecoin Foundation & the active Reddit community, the team continued to work on the Litecoin brand.
